Chalk It Up

Today, most metro Atlanta schools begin the 2010-2011 school year. One fond memory of my "School House" days was the blackboard. I always raced to volunteer to write the daily items on the chalkboard or clean the erasers during recess. Yes, I was also a chalk eater!

Even with the rise of computers and electronic organization, I find the chalkboard will always be around, but used in creative and unconventional ways. Here are a few examples where the chalkboard is incorporated stylishly and yet very functionally.
